Amanda Peet In Band of Outsiders – ‘Trust Me’ Tribeca Film Festival Premiere

Amanda Peet In Band of Outsiders - 'Trust Me' Tribeca Film Festival Premiere

Amanda Peet attended the screening of ‘Trust Me’ during the 2013 Tribeca Film Festival at BMCC Tribeca PAC in New York City on Saturday evening.

The actress donned a Band of Outsiders Fall 2013 menswear-inspired frock.

Her striped navy blazer dress with peaked shoulders was styled with thick black tights, black pumps and a Smythson black suede clutch with a gold trim.

From the runway, the look is supposed to be oversized, but on Amanda it looks too big and heavy.

My wish for this look is that Amanda would’ve opted for a lighter-denier pair of tights, as presented on the runway, and that she had worn her hair back off her shoulders.

Do you have any objections with regards to this look?

This look looks heavy for April.

But looking at her past fashion, um, choices…this is by far her best look.

I agree about the tights and I wish she had opted for a colourful clutch and had added an oversized statement ring.
I have no problem with her hair, I think it looks terrific in fact. Her barely there makeup is flawless. LOVE it.

Fresh on the runway and dated and stale looking on Amanda…

      ‘stale’ is the right word.

    What is this, 1984?

      My thoughts exactly!
This would be rather nice for a WINTRY day in 1984.

This is blah and too heavy for Spring. I know it’s chilly at night right now on the East Coast but this is just too heavy-looking.

It’s a great coat dress, and I don’t actually think she looks bad at all. Would have been better in the fall though, or maybe in early February.

It’s been pretty cold here in NYC, so I’ll give her a pass on the tights.
