Camila Alves In Dolce & Gabbana – ‘Mud’ New York Screening

Camila Alves In Dolce & Gabbana - Mud New York Premiere

Camila Alves joined her hubby Matthew McConaughey in attending a screening of his movie ‘Mud’ at The Museum of Modern Art in New York City on Sunday.

While he opted not to wear Dolce & Gabbana for a change, she did, selecting a floral-embroidered and black-lace short-sleeved frock shortened from the Fall 2012 collection.

It’s a pretty typical Dolce frock, which she styled with luscious waves, smoky eyes, glossy lips, statement earrings and black Casadei ‘Blade’ pumps.

A very pretty look, the highlights work and I prefer the lighter lace detail better. I like the runway length but shortening it was wise for Camilla.

  • Quinn

wow, i thought she looks smashing! i seriously don’t get the all the comments that said she looks just ok. n she somehow reminds of miranda kerr here…

This woman always amazes me. I only know her as the wife to Matt Mc. But she is always a shiny gem on the red carpet, playing her game better than most stars.

  • dunzoo

well, it’s not a very exciting look, but she looks nice, the dress fits her well, plus hair & make up are great.

  • Marybeth

Nice!!! So much prettier than the runway version with all of its heavy, horizontal, black stripes.

      +1 It’s a pretty look!

  • Nat39

Very pretty esp. on beautiful Camilla teamed with her gorgeous hair, so sweet and feminine, don’t even mind the simple black pumps on this occasion as they do not compete with the print or take the focus off the dress.

  • CreoleLady

I like her version much better than the runway version. And it’s not just the dress, it’s what she brings to it.

  • Christine

    Gorgeous. Love her hair.

  • Rebecca Z

Gorgeous–she looks so much better than he does.

  • gabis

Not a shopwstopper but a zillion times better than her last appearance. I love the fitting and her luscious waves.
