Michelle Williams In Katie Ermilio – Tiffany & Co. Blue Book Ball

Michelle Williams In Katie Ermilio - Tiffany & Co Blue Book Ball

Michelle Williams also opted for a barely there, natural makeup look on the red carpet for the Tiffany & Co. Blue Book Ball, held at the Rockefeller Center in New York City yesterday evening.

She selected a look by up-and-coming designer Katie Ermilio.

Michelle’s navy-blue Spring 2012 floor-length sleeveless frock, with a skirt featuring exaggerated pointy hips, was perfect in length.

My first reaction was “why not the fuchsia dress?” but on reflection I feel this navy colour suits the mood of the event perfectly.

Like everyone else at this event, Michelle dazzled in Tiffany jewels.

Would you have preferred the fuchsia dress?

I am normally a big fan of her style but this is a big no for me – It looks arty in the wrong way

This is boring, I would’ve preferred the lookbook version. But the fit is off on her anyway.

Agree on the fit. The proportions are all wrong on her petite frame.

    This dress is really unflaterring.

I would have preferred the fuchsia better. This one I really don’t care about it, it’s just blah for me. If she would have worned the fuchsia it would have been a total different story.

Not liking the dress at all. The dress itself is so bad.

On the model, in fuchsia and with the more defined waist, the dress is stunning. It is difficult to see much detail in the photo what with the lighting and the dark colour, but the bodice is too big and the waist is not defined. Because of this, the dress loses its appeal on Michelle.

Yes, the fuschia is better but the dress itself is such an unflattering, ill-designed mess in the first place that I think she should have gone with a different look entirely. Not liking her hair here either. It’s looked awkward lately.

I would’ve preferred a different gown to be honest. It’s a very difficult piece to pull it off and it’s not that beautiful to begin with to worth the risk.

I was gonna say the same thing. I prefer a different dress. This one is awful.

What? I’m surprised at the comments! I actually really like this a lot! And as you say I think the navy version is very event appropriate!

Plus I think the dress is quite interesting: the sculptural hips, and it appears to have some big pleat at the back or something. That pic with Michelle and Kate is lovely.

Cute dress. I like it a lot.

She looks like she’s standing in a hole.

    Not liking the dress anyway.

This is one ugly dress. pink or not

  13. Anj April 19, 2013 at 18:12 #

This is a wreck. Not only is the dress awful but her hair looks crazy.

I don’t think this silhouette looks good on anyone. I don’t understand why she would want to put her gorgeous figure in this!

  15. Nat39 April 19, 2013 at 20:03 #

While I’m intrigued by the unusual silhouette of the gown, I don’t think Michelle is pulling it off.

I like the haircut but with this gown (I would pick the pink) which I actually like it needs a more classic and elegant hair to really work.

The hair and the attitude make this silly dress work.
