Beyonce Knowles Kicks Off Her ‘Mrs. Carter’ World Tour In Ralph & Russo

Beyonce Mrs Carter Tour

Beyonce Knowles kicked off her 42-city ‘Mrs. Carter Show World Tour’ in Belgrade, Serbia last night, wearing a white crystal- and pearl-embellished bodysuit with a peplum skirt and fringed epaulettes, designed by Ralph & Russo.

They are not the only ones who will be dressing Beyoncé during this epic tour.

Peter Dundas, Creative Director at Emilio Pucci, has created four looks for Beyoncé, for which he drew inspiration from his Fall 2013 collection. The costumes will resonate with the singer’s modern take on glamour and complement the theatrical storytelling of the ‘Mrs. Carter Show’.

Dean and Dan Caten from DSquared2 will also be dressing Beyoncé for her tour, creating exclusive pieces inspired by their ‘Glamazons’ Spring 2013 collection.

As for the shoes, Beyonce’s stylist and mother, Tina Knowles, worked with Stuart Weitzman to create footwear to complement her costumes, ranging from stiletto pumps with Swarovski crystal detailing, to lace military-influenced ankle- and knee-high boots.

Beyonce’s world tour runs until August 5, when she will close at the Barclays Center in Brooklyn – aptly.

Oh yeah there are at least two more pieces confirmed, one by DSquared2 and another by Julien Macdonald

Beyonce has been stuck in a style rut. I do like her and think that she is immensely talented, however one has to re-invent themselves at times to keep things interesting. This woman has had that dreaded hair colour over a decade.

Knowing Beyonce, the reason for not putting pants is because it will be easier to change costumes. But I want to know who designed the bodysuit she was wearing with boob details. It’s not here but I saw online that one of her costumes have details which look like boobs complete with nipples.

Um no. I know it’s on stage, but PUT SOME PANTS ON. So tacky.

I only like the Emilio Pucci looks. Not crazy about the one.

Her mother is her stylist? Explains a lot…

I like the white bodysuit. I’m curious to see how the sketches translate in real life.
Honestly, if I had to run around under spotlights for more than 1h30, I wouldn’t be that much covered either.

Besides, I think she learned her lesson from when she wore that long coat and ended up falling down the stairs xD

This is one woman who is not afraid to work some body and break a sweat. So although bodysuits and shortie shorts are not entirely my favorite things, I can understand why she wears them on stage. All the essential bits are covered and supported.

im not B’s biggest fan, but when I look at her I get what the fuss is all about. She’s smoking hot and a great performer

She looks great from the waist up and I’m sure the tour will be exciting, but I can’t help but to be a little perplexed by the idea that apparently nowdays it’s compulsory NOT to wear pants while you’re on stage…

I agree ! Since when it’s OK to go around in panties ?!
      It’s really weird and I don’t think it’s sexy.

        +1000 to this.

Blame Madonna. For her sticky and sweet tour she wore a bodysuit, then Britney did it and five minutes later everybody copied . Pants were no longer allowed on stage. Frankly it makes everything boring.
Bey looks great but how many times have we seen this look? uninspiring

Not excited about any of these looks, the bodysuit she’s wearing included.
