Camila Alves In Lela Rose – Mack, Jack & McConaughey Present John Mellencamp In Concert

Camila Alves In Lela Rose - Mack, Jack & McConaughey Present John Mellencamp In Concert

Matthew McConaughey and Camila Alves attended the charity gala Mack, Jack & McConaughey Present John Mellencamp In Concert at ACL Live in Austin, Texas yesterday evening.

Matthew was, of course, decked out in Dolce & Gabbana, while his better half opted for a Lela Rose Spring 2013 dress with nude open-toe heels.

Her soft-hued floral bloom organza glossy frock with an airy skirt is a very elegant look for the TV host. So often does she do the va-va-voom thing that it’s nice to see this softer side.

Featuring a demure tea length, the silhouette is lightly draped through the bodice, while the nipped-in waist creates a flattering profile. Nude silk lining adds boned structure to the bodice, and forms an illusion sweetheart neckline for a romantic finish.

Fingers crossed she returns to her natural brunette hue soon: I’m not a fan of her highlights.

Not liking her hair, but the rest is lovely. Matthew looks dapper.

+1 The hair is a mess.

She looks beautiful! It’s a nice break from her usual more sophisticated looks. It’s so feminine and romantic, without being sugary, and so wonderfully seasonal. Love it!

(Agree 100% on the hair. While these highlights are well done, they just don’t have the impact of that gorgeous near-black.)

The dress is very pretty, missing a delicate thin belt (even though it works fine without it), the hair is a messy distraction.
Matthew’s casual shoes are way out of place, and the suit could’ve been fitted better.

      I agree.

Why do her face and hair look like they’re covered in ash? Not a good look…certainly not complementary to such a feminine dress, which needs a sleek or sophisticated hairstyle.

Not a fan. I don’t really like the dress to begin with but it’s her hair and makeup that bring this look down for me. I think a ponytail as shown on the runway would’ve worked better however I could’ve given a pass to Camila’s wavy tresses if her hair wasn’t so lifeless on that ocasion. As for the makeup I find the berry lips all wrong.

And, I am not a fan of tea length.

LOVE! They look like they’ve been on hols, any chance her hair is just sunkissed? Anyway, I love the dress and her hair is lovely too, I would love if my limp locks looked half as ‘bad’ as hers!

…. and the dress is all but sold out on Netaporter so clearly its a hit with many

ugh, yeah, her hair ruins it…

I don’t know why she messed with perfection by putting highlights in her hair. The dress is so very pretty though and she looks good in it.

I don’t think the dress translated very well off carpet. The model looks amazing while Camilla just so-so.

  11. Christine April 12, 2013 at 23:54 #

Not a fan of the dress in general.

  12. Cristina April 13, 2013 at 08:36 #

The dress on the model looks better, like better fabric, better tailoring, more airy etc.Camila’s dress looks like a cheaper version of it…

+1 Adore the dress on the model, but it falls a little flat/heavy on Camilla. Her hair is bad too.

Agreed that hair doesn’t do much for her. But, for me the real problem is the shoes. Platform peep shoe mary-janes aren’t exactly chic.
