Angelababy In Alexander McQueen – 2013 Huading Awards Ceremony

Angelababy In Alexander McQueen - 2013 Huading Awards Ceremony

Angelababy joined Fan Bingbing on the red carpet for the 2013 Huading Awards Ceremony, held at the Kowloonbay International Trade and Exhibition Centre in Hong Kong yesterday evening.

The stunning actress wore an Alexander McQueen Spring 2013 strapless gown.

While the red floral bustier gown accented with a gold belt is stunning, it would be remiss of me not to point out the excessive boobage and the needless silver jewels.

Simplicity was the direction in which she should’ve strode; instead, she over-accessorized the look.

Does Angelababy win you over with this look, or are you not feeling it for the reasons I have listed above?

You may remember that Elizabeth Banks wore this same gown to the 2013 Vanity Fair Party.

Ugly bust which makes it all look cheap. Too many accessories. Too bad, on the model it looks so classy!

I didn’t like the deep v on Elizabeth, and since it’s so much more…revealing…on Angelababy I have to give this look a MAJOR no. The silver jewels didn’t go with it either. I like her hair and the skirt.

I don’t mind the boobs because last time I checked Angelababy was a WOMAN and WOMEN usually love (?) to have boobs. Sticks with beautiful dresses are supposed to be impecably dressed? What about the rest? The ones WITH curves?
Over accessorising is wrong here, imo. The colour looks divine on her.

It’s not the fact she has breasts, it is how she chose to present them!

I have a problem with the boobage. Squashed boobs never look good. Plus she has excessorized the dress

Isn’t her make-up making her look as if she were European? Her gorgeous asian features seem completely changed to me and that’s a real pity! I might be mistaken though

She’s half German I think, it’s not the makeup.

I don’t mind the boobage that much, it’s not so in-yout-face that it’s obvious from a distance. However, I dislike her jewellery. It’s very unneccessary…

What a shame! The color is divine on her, much more so than on Elizabeth Banks, and her hair and make-up are perfect. But the boobage just kills the look.

This dress points out a bad boob job. If she didn’t get one, then this is doubly worse.
I actually like the necklace but I don’t like the belt or the bracelet.

Elisabeth Banks wore this dress to the Vanity Fair Oscar Party!

Beautiful gown, but way too much boobage and the necklace wasn’t needed.

The squished super round boobs really dont look good in this dress. Perhaps if it wasnt so tight and more relaxed in that area, the color is quite refreshing on her.

    • Sharon April 11, 2013 at 23:29 #

I don’t like the “squished super round boobs” in any dress. Elizabeth Banks looked better, but the only one who looks really good is the runway model.

She completely ruins this wonderful gown…yaix… – the styling is atrocious

Ouch–when bad things happen to great dresses. Who could look at this in the mirror and then go out in public in it?

    • CreoleLady April 11, 2013 at 14:19 #

Lol! This is one occasion where being small or, um, unenhanced up top would be an advantage. And the silver jewelry, so doesn’t work.

      Ditto. :))

  14. MaddyEliza April 11, 2013 at 14:13 #

Didn’t Elizabeth Banks already wear this dress to the Vanity Fair Oscars Party?

    • MaddyEliza April 11, 2013 at 14:16 #

Regardless, ugh the boobs are awful!! So trashy and desperate-looking! And yes, the jewels were unneeded, especially silver ones. (If it weren’t for the boobs I could get past that though.) It’s so unfortunate that both of the women who have worn this dress have not got the styling right, because this is just an absolutely stunning gown! 🙁

Excessive boobage is right! And that necklace is not only unnecessary, it doesn’t even go. Preferred this dress on Elizabeth Banks by a mile.

    • Beta April 11, 2013 at 14:18 #

      +1 totally

    • Yeliz April 11, 2013 at 14:47 #

      • Christine April 12, 2013 at 01:28 #

+3000 buy a long long mile. Banks clearly won this.

    • Cass April 12, 2013 at 01:40 #

Agreed. The excessive boobage ruins it for me.
