There were many more PYTs on the red carpet at the Edison Ballroom in New York City yesterday evening for Elle’s Women in Music Celebration.
Kelly Rowland: Keeping her look uber casual, the singer wore a white tee paired with black leather pants. Silver Saint Laurent ‘Paloma’ sandals – which we’ve seen in gold on Jada Pinkett Smith – and a stack of bracelets which complemented her necklace and ring completed her look. I’m still longing for the day she returns to her cropped ‘do.
DJ Kiss: The superstar DJ opted to break up the runway, pairing her Peter Pilotto Spring 2013 ‘Lauena’ printed skirt with a black silk sleeveless top. I love the bright-orange lip and the swirling cuff, but the ankle-strap heels weigh down the look.
June Ambrose: The chic stylist wore a BCBG Max Azria ‘Sur’ printed shawl-lapel blazer with matching BCBG Max Azria ‘Clay’ printed pants and a solid black tank top. While I’m not fond of the stark white pumps on this occasion, I do like that she, as always, thought outside of the black-pump box.

DJ Kiss. Don’t like the other two.
I like Kelly’s outfit but I don’t like her hair. The other two looks are just OK.
I wonder if those Saint laurent sandals would look good with the Pilotto skirt. I would have preferred black shoes with June’s suit over white ones.
Not liking either looks.
um… no, nay, and negative.
underwhelming. Seriously I was expecting more from Kelly. I know this isn’t a big awards show but still. Her look is just too casual for me.
I am really puzzled by June Ambrose’ choice of a black blouse under the suit jacket given that the lapels are black. It totally changes the look of the jacket, and not in a good way in my opinion. I love black on black, but not this time.
I don’t like the white pumps either, but, from the ankles up, I think June looks great.
DJ Kiss looks the best.
DJ Kiss out of the 3.
I really like Kelly’s sandals.
