Maria Jose Suarez In Emilio Pucci – Emporio Armani Madrid Boutique Opening

Maria Jose Suarez In Emilio Pucci - Emporio Armani Madrid Boutique Opening

Maria Jose Suarez attended the opening of a new Emporio Armani store in Madrid, Spain yesterday evening.

The Spanish beauty opted to wear a sexy Emilio Pucci frock from the Resort 2013 collection to liven up the black carpet.

Her raspberry keyhole dress with flamenco-style ruffles on the open sleeves was styled with Yanes jewels, a gold Escada clutch and the Jimmy Choo ‘Malika’ perforated booties we’ve seen on Diane Kruger in silver-and-gold and Alex Curran in black.

The yellow version really pops against the black background.

Effortless, loose waves and glossy lips completed her spirited look.

I’m glad she didn’t add the belt as featured on the model, as she didn’t need it.

    Not my favourite look.

The dress isn’t really flattering on her and even though I love the shoes, dresses in this length need sandals or pumps, not booties. And the fact that she wore Pucci to an Armani boutique opening keeps me from liking this look anyway.

I find this to be a train wreck too–the dress doesn’t fit her too well and I never understand why anyone would design a tight dress in satin or satiny silk, whichever this is. And those ugly shoes send exactly the wrong signals. They might work with skinny jeans, but a delicate shiny dress–why?

Those sleeves just ruin it. They don’t even look good on the model.

The dress is interesting with its deep rich colour and unusual detailing but it is simply not working on her and her styling isn’t good either.

she looks amazing, i don’t understand why the bad comments… she looks great. and this two colours convined are simply divine.

I like the color of the dress, and the fun fluttering sleeves. Not the too-tight-across-the-hips fit, the gaping revealing keyhole, and those “Erector Set” (did anyone have those as a kid? :D) shoes.

Adored these shoes since I first saw them in favourites column. I don’t love the dress, the colour is only thing I really like.
