Nikki Reed In Prabal Gurung & Brittany Snow In Duro Olowu – Vogue ‘Triple Threats’ Dinner

Nikki Reed In Prabal Gurung & Brittany Snow In Duro Olowu - Vogue 'Triple Threats' Dinner

Patterns and prints definitely proved to be the evening’s main dish at Vogue’s ‘Triple Threat’ dinner, hosted last week by Sally Singer and Lisa Love, at Goldie’s in Los Angeles.

Two more examples of the trend du jour were PYTs Nikki Reed and Brittany Snow, who posed together in their power prints—each with tousled bobs, perfectly shorn for spring.

Nikki wore a short-sleeve Prabal Gurung frock, featuring an exploded, abstract blue-lily design that looked everything like a high-fashion Rorschach test.

Her Manolo Blahnik black sling-backs could have been more interesting, but they did let the dress do all the talking. I would love to see the Prada necklace when it’s not lost in the shuffle of a trippy floral kaleidoscope print.

As for Brittany, her Duro Olowu printed design was chaotic and cool with its strong nod to Jackson Pollock. The bold tea-length dress was toned down with simple gold sandals by Aquazurra and a pale-pink DVF clutch.

Even though the denim jacket paid homage to Triple Threat’s sartorial theme, I would have left this uninspired version at home.

That punchy red-orange lip may have been my favorite addition to this look.

You can buy Brittany’s Citizens of Humanity ‘Borderline’ jacket from
Revolve Clothing, Bloomingdale’s, Bloomingdales UK and Piperlime.

True they look best appart !

Neither pulled off their look well tbh. Nikki let down her fun-printed but shapeless dress with poor styling, while Brittany let her look overwhelm her.

Nikki looks nice apart from the dull shoes. I like Brittany’s look w/o the jacket.

Her dress seems a tad too long but Brittany is still my favourite. She looks great and I love the funky lipstick/nail polish.

both look great. The denim jacket and the necklace are unnecessary

Love Nikki’s look H2T, but only like Britanny’s look because of the jacket and the sandals.

Love both of these dresses, but especially the Olowu–beautifully conceived and executed. No problem with the denim jacket, but like Moxie, it would have been fun to see the dress without it. Nikki definitely should have lost the necklace.

Ditch the denim jacket I like both looks. If I had to pick one for myself I’d select the Olowu one.

Brittany’s is my favorite. I like the addition of the jacket, but it would have been nice to see a picture without it.

Wish they weren’t standing together, the double load of prints makes me dizzy.
I prefer Brittany minus the jacket out of the 2. The cut of Nikki’s dress is a bit too young and girly for her.
