Karolina Kurkova In Vivaz – amfAR Gala Sao Paulo

I’m sure jaws were hitting the floor like dominos when Karolina Kurkova hit the red carpet for the third annual Inspiration Gala São Paulo on Saturday evening.

The popular supermodel looked stunning wearing a pink Vivaz gown.

You may remember that Gisele Bundchen wore a rose-pink satin Versace Fall 2008 gown to the 2008 Met Gala, followed by Spanish actress Mar Saura to the Goya Awards, back in 2009; Karolina’s hot-pink crepe version by Brazilian designer Vivaz, featuring silver bugle beading tracing the bodice, was clearly inspired by that infamous gown.

She styled the gown with a silver spider cuff, a Jimmy Choo clutch and diamond-encrusted earrings.

Opting for smoky eyes, a slicked-back ponytail and a pink lip colour, this is my second BDOTW contender of the day, following Taylor Swift.

Update: The gown is not Versace. It is a blatant copy of the Versace Fall 2008 look. Thanks for all those who have informed me.
