Hillary Scott In A Pea in the Pod - 2013 ACM Awards

Lady Antebellum’s Hillary Scott was glowing on the red carpet at the 2013 ACM Awards, held at the MGM Grand Garden Arena in Las Vegas last night.

The singer, who is nominated for Vocal Group of the Year with band members Dave Haywood and Charles Kelley, wore a custom A Pea in the Pod midnight-blue jersey dress that showed off her baby bump.
Her three-quarter-sleeved gown featured a beaded neckline and a low-cut neckline that played up her pregnancy curves.

Opting for a pretty pink manicure, the singer carried a mother-of-pearl Kelly Wearstler ‘Fractured’ clutch with a foot clasp and wore a selection of jewels, including a serpent bracelet.

A blown-out bouffant, kohl-rimmed eyes and a light-red lip colour completed her look.

She is glowing. Love the colour on her. I do wish that she had tamed her tresses into a low ponytail or bun so that the most attractive part of the gown- the shoulder embellishments could have been highlighted!

Fantastic pregnancy look – the midnight blue is a slimming colour while the draped detailing creates a flattering shape, and the beading and her accessories add some sparkle to the look and keep it from being boring. Would’ve preferred a soft ‘do to show off the statement earrings and beaded neckline but overall it’s a very good look for her.

Now THIS is a maternity look done right. She looks really good! I love the deep blue color and fabric. I appreciate how, unlike some pregnant celebrities (*cough* Kim *cough*), she’s not forcing herself into designer clothing for the sake of wearing designer clothing. She’s got plenty of time for that after her child is born.
