Jada Pinkett-Smith In Peter Pilotto – Out In New York City

Jada Pinkett-Smith In Peter Pilotto - Out In New York City

Jada Pinkett-Smith lit up the streets of Manhattan yesterday afternoon wearing a very colourful ensemble.

The Peter Pilotto Resort 2013 look, which is a stunning masterpiece and a feast for the eyes, features a yellow sleeveless jacquard silk blouse with swirling sequin embellishments and a contrasting white collar.

She paired this modern top with a geometric-print pencil skirt from the same collection, which was equally mesmerizing and hypnotic.

This might be colour and print overload for some, but I love her styling over the look book as I prefer the yellow top with the green skirt.

Simple cobalt-blue pumps and ombre curly locks completed her look.

I am not a big fan of the current print with print trend but I like the choice of this top with the printed skirt. The bright blue shoes take the colourful theme too far for me and have the eye travelling everywhere instead of focussing on the beautifully embellished top.

      Agree on all points.
The bright blue shoes are overkill. With a simple black sandal this would have worked nicely.

    I love this! I shouldn’t, but I do.

+1 – I like it because it’s not obvious. Good for her.

I think she put it together well, although the whole thing does make me dizzy.

It’s busy but is it’s a visual feast for me. I don’t lovee the shape of the pumps but I like the colour.

Shoe colour? Thumbs up. Shoe choice? Thumbs down. A strapped heel would have worked wonders.

The collection is busy but these pieces are elegantly designed. I disagree about the blue shoes. They are perfect. The suede is a beautiful contrast to the silk and the color brings out the blue in the top and bottom. Well done Jada!
