Jada Pinkett Smith In Miu Miu – ‘Free Angela and All Political Prisoners’ New York Premiere

Jada Pinkett Smith In Miu Miu - 'Free Angela and All Political Prisoners' New York Premiere

With her executive producer hat on, Jada Pinkett Smith took to the red carpet at the Schomburg Center for Research in Black Culture to attend the ‘Free Angela and All Political Prisoners’ New York premiere yesterday evening.

She was glowing once again, wearing a Miu Miu sunshine-yellow gown.

Her halter chiffon gown with a side slit is soft and ultra feminine, which is in stark contrast to her edgy look from earlier in the day.

Opting for loose waves and a deep-red lip colour on this occasion, Jada styled her look with a silver Kara Ross clutch and black-and-gold Saint Laurent ankle-cuff ‘Paloma’ sandals.

As always, Jada knocks it out of the fashion ball park. Despite the layers, she doesn’t let this gown overwhelm her petite frame.

Her eyebrows look too heavy and I am not crazy about the halter neckline on her. The color looks lovely on her though.

+1 – you nailed it. The neck messes this up.

Like the dress but not the shoes with this look.

Ditto. The colour of the dress looks great on her.

i wish she wore different shoes, these ones are lovely but not so good with the dress. Anyway she looks great

The shoes are weighing the look down. The top is kinda overwhelming her.

The color is so glorious on her and she looks so pretty that I hate to nitpick, but…….I prefer hair worn up or back with most halter necks, especially with a very high neckline. The shoes are great on their own but a bit heavy for the dress. And I don’t like the silver clutch with the gold shoes.

An absolutely AMAZING dress and an even better colour for someone with darker skin. WOW

I would have wanted her hair up but I can forgive that because that dress looks amazing on her, the color + her skin = magic.

I wouldn’t say she always hits it out of the park, but this one is certainly a home run.

Good style on and off the red carpet.

The styling is all wrong for this…dark lip is too harsh, hair down competes with the neckline, and shoes are all wrong (especially with the clutch). The clutch is the only part of the styling I like–as for the gown, I love the soft yellow color and would love the style sans side split And if it were floor-length.
