Emmy Rossum In Carven – Out In New York City

Emmy Rossum In Carven - Out In New York City

Prior to attending the Jeffrey Fashion Cares 10th Anniversary Celebration, Emmy Rossum was spotted out in Chelsea, New York sporting a very colourful outfit.
The actress wore a Carven Resort 2013 look.

She teamed a lightweight cotton shirt bearing an illustration of Paris with a matching jacket featuring a notch collar and bracelet-length sleeves.

Instead of opting for a hat trick of Paris-print pieces, as featured in the look book, Emmy added a bright-orange Carven skirt (from the same collection) with a flared ruffled hemline to provide a more interesting mix of textures and colours.

A baby-blue quilted shoulder bag and tan pumps accessorized her look.

She has been on fire this week, both on and off the carpet. The actress, who claims she doesn’t have a stylist, is doing a very fine job on her own.

she’s channeling her inner Upper East Side lol.
However I don’t believe her when she claims she doesn’t have a stylist.

I love it. Bright and flirty. Compare her with the women dressed in black in the background. It would look great mixed the other way too, ie the orange jacket paired with the printed skirt.

I hate it. The outfits too young. The bag and shoes clash.

Most Consistently Amazing 2013 goes to–Emmy Rossum! This is another fantastic look. I love the variety she’s had this week. The Paris print is adorable.

I miss the fashion from GG 🙁

If she doesn’t really have a stylist, she’s doing an amazing job! She always looks great!

I agree, I was gonna say the same thing about look too schoolgirlish. Not liking this look.

I like that she broke up the print with a solid colour skirt, would’ve been too one-note otherwise, she put it all together nicely, but I still don’t like it much – not a fan of the print and with the short cutesy flared skirt, it’s a bit too young/schoolgirlish.

      I agree. Too cute.
