Kate Upton attended Samsung’s 2013 Television Line Launch Event at the Museum Of American Finance in New York City yesterday afternoon.
Jumping on the chequered craze, the model wore a yellow-and-white jacket from the Louis Vuitton Spring 2013 collection.
I have to say, this is my least favourite interpretation of the trend to date.
My biggest objection to this look are the black suede over-the-knee boots. They totally contradict the summery outlook of her outfit from the waist up.

I totally agree with you. The jacket and the top are not working with a jean so dark and certainly not with these boots !
+1
No redeeming features whatsoever. Why God why?
I actually LOVE what she’s done with this jacket! About time someone dressed this collection down a bit, love it!
The jacket and jeans are fine, but why add boots?
Agreed.
Not sure about the issue here. I think this looks great. I don’t consider this a summery jacket, but more a spring jacket and if we’re judging her shoes based on seasons, then there’s no issue wearing boots in Spring.
Also, someone mentioned a light top & jacket shouldn’t be paired with dark denim? Dark denim is universally complementary to colors (light and dark) so again, not an issue here.
Please make this collection go away. This isn’t even that great of an outfit.
This is all wrong indeed, the jeans and boots do not go here at all. With a pair of lovely cropped pants and ladylike pumps, this could’ve been a fresh chic look.
the boots killed an otherwise cool look. I like the idea of dressing down the jacket but black boots? Just no!
boring and bad. Not the worst of the LV collection, but up there.
