January Jones attended AMC’s ‘Mad Men’ Season 6 premiere held at DGA Theater Los Angeles, California yesterday evening.
The blonde actress wore a Jonathan Saunders Spring 2013 dress.
Her blue-white-and-ivory crepe-silk-and-chiffon dress feels fresh and effortless.
This is not a big budget movie premiere, so pulling things back and keeping things simple was probably the right approach; however, this does feel like a photocall look or garden party look.
January’s makeup was also kept simple and light as her skin was naturally radiant, with a glossy pink lip colour accenting the gorgeous smile.
Silver Christian Louboutin sandals completed her look.
Do you love this laidback approach or do you wish she’d made more of an effort?
‘Mad Men’ airs on AMC in the US on Sunday, April 7th, and Wednesday, April 10th on Sky Atlantic in the UK.

I don’t like this color on her, it’s too dull.
It’s definitely too dull and them shoes are a no.
“Them shoes are no.”
LOL that is perfect to describe my sentiment towards them. It’s like the worst of the 90s.
The bottom part is fugly and the colour kinda washed her out. I love the shoes but I’m not sure if it’s right for this look.
dull, boring and mumsy was all that came to my mind…
On the model it is looser and more relaxed chic but as it is a bit more fitted on January Jones it loses its chic and becomes something different – the sandals are wrong too imo.
I don’t totally dislike it from the front, but from the back it looks like a bathing suit with a white sarong.
However, I like it when she goes for “pretty” rather than “edgy/trying too hard”. She’s so beautiful and she should really understand how to enhance her classic beauty.
No no no.
I think she looks lovely. It’s refreshing to see her in a laid back look.
Oh God WHYYY !! Its written beach/picnic wear all over it.
Not a fan of the dress, particularly the back, but she looks radiant!
She looks good from the front but from the side this dress looks just bad with that sheer part.
It’s not bad from the front. This is just OK.
I think she looks OK.
My first impression of the dress was very positive, but the more I look at it the less I like it. I like the blue on her and the shape. The sheer panel looks fine from the front, but is not flattering in the side view–the transition is too horizontal there. Like her hair and makeup.
I like the dress from the front, but not the back. She should have put more effort into her hair and makeup.
bad as usual. i cant get with her red carpet or street style
wow! this is horrible, just g*d awful! why does her stylist hate her so much to do this to her! there is laid back for a lower budget tv premiere and then there is the appearance of just not caring what you look like. from the ill fit, to the lax hair/makeup, to bland styling and dress itself, this is one of the worst looks to date from January. she used to slay the carpet every time she stepped out, now she looks nothing more than a second rate Dlist actress. makes me sad.
The sheer part of the skirt makes it so tacky, it’s like a cheap dancer’s outfit. Not liking it.
The model rocks it, January sadly doesn’t.
