Never one to miss a fashionable night out, Caroline Sieber attended the private viewing of ‘David Bowie Is’ at the Victoria & Albert Museum in London, England yesterday evening.
The stylist and general It-girl-about-town wore a Christopher Kane Fall 2013 dress: our first look at this collection off the runway. The designer’s BFF always manages to get first dibbs.
Her sheer, short-sleeved mini dress, festooned with black-and-blue ostrich feathers, was lined – unlike the version which took to the runway – as you would expect.
The styling, which included black Mary Janes and a grey quilted Chanel clutch, was wisely kept simple for the dress to be the main focus of this look.
Does this lined dress work off the runway for you?

Not liking this dress.
+1
I love it. I think it looks even better on her than it does on the runway.
Actually she wore from the collection earlier this month.

but I think this is more flattering on her.
My first thought is too short. How can anyone feel comfortable showing so much skin. If the dress were longer it would have been a great look.
It’s way too short, I agree, otherwise it’s a cute delicate dress, glad it was lined, I like it.
Lined or not, this is an ugly dress.
Haha, I said almost the exact same thing before reading your comment!
For anyone interested, this is already her 3rd(!) look for Christopher Kane’s A/W ’13 collection. I love him and it is nice to see Caro support him on most of her RC appearances
Even lined, it’s still a mess of a dress imo. Too much detail and too short.
