The black-and-white trend continued to make its mark on the red carpet courtesy of AnnaSophia Robb, who joined Emilia Clarke on the red carpet for the ‘Breakfast At Tiffany’s’ Broadway Opening Night at the Cort Theatre in New York City.
She wore an Alice + Olivia Spring 2013 dress.
Not only am I mesmerized by the diagonal stripes on her leather dress with a 60s A-line silhouette, but I also love her colourful accessories – someone has been paying attention on the set of ‘Carrie’s Diaries’.
She could’ve kept the look on trend wearing white pumps, but opted for a fuchsia coloured Jean-Michel Cazabat ‘Lex’ leather embossed snakeskin and suede platforms instead; plus, she added a green tote which looks like a grocery bag, when a clutch would’ve been preferred.
I should be grateful it wasn’t a cross-body bag a la SJP.

The green bag is an eyesore, the rest is cute.

I personally much prefer this dress with black or white accessories, as in the 2 lookbook versions. Adding color, other than on the lips or nails, greatly diminishes the drama of the stark contrast.
OTOH, for a less sophisticated and more playful look, these bright additions work. I just wish she had picked a nicer bag. Yes, even a cross-body one would have been better than this grocery sack!
Hate the bag but love the rest.
I like the bag and shoes but not together. If I had to pick, I’d get rid of the bag.
the accessories just don’t go together. this look screams : my air headed stylist made me wear this
* airhead
Love the shoes and dress. The bag is too big and bulky for this look. A clutch would have been so much better.

The bag is awful!
she was looking really good when promoting the carrie diaries, but lately her looks have been so childish! hate this dress. and that bag is awful.
Very cute, wish the dress was a little longer–but the bag is actually ok with me, and the shoes are great!
