‘Olympus Has Fallen’ LA Premiere Menswear Round Up

‘Olympus Has Fallen’ LA Premiere Menswear Round Up

On Monday night, the cast of ‘Olympus Has Fallen’ took to the red capret at the ArcLight Cinerama Dome in Hollywood, California for the LA premiere. Colour coordinating their looks, each of the four male leads arrived wearing navy suits.

Gerard Butler: After looking dapper in a three-piece suit at the New York premiere, the star of the film opted to put a small twist on a similar look. He stuck with the three-piece Brioni suit, but chose navy and a different type of waistcoat. The waistcoat was double-breasted and featured a shawl collar, while the suit itself was a typical two-button suit with peak lapels. He cleanly finished the look with a white shirt, navy tie, and black lace-up shoes.

Morgan Freeman: The classic actor donned a classic look with a few of his own personal accessories. His navy-notch lapel Brioni suit fit well, though I wish the pants were a bit shorter, and it matched nicely with his widely-knotted yellow tie. To give it his own attitude, Morgan added a pair of sunglasses and his earrings. He is also still forced to wear his white compression glove due to the car accident in 2008.

Aaron Eckhart: The 45-year-old actor, also in a navy two-button suit by BOSS, switched it up by styling his look with brown wingtip shoes instead of black shoes. Aaron looked great in a tailored suit with a white shirt and blue tie.

Rick Yune: In a lighter shade of navy, Rick cleaned up very well in a slim-fit, two-button suit. Along with the suit, he wore a white shirt and a blue tie with diagonal stripes. He also sported matching suede shoes, of which I wasn’t a big fan; that would have been a good place to give a pop of black or brown colour.

I couldn’t believe all four of them wore navy suits. Someone needed to step out of the box here. My favourite look was between Gerard and Rick, but I’m going to go with Rick because Gerard’s waistcoat was too distracting for me.
