Emmy Rossum proved that the white shoe trend is still going strong when she took to the red carpet at the El Rey Theatre in California for the iHeartRadio ’20/20′ album release party for Justin Timberlake.
The actress wore a chic, affordable high-street look which included an ivory-and-green embroidered Topshop long-sleeved dress from the Limited Dresses collection, styled with white Topshop pumps and a black Target clutch.
I love her shimmering eyeshadow, which mixes gold and green to complement her dress.
We don’t often see white manicures on the red carpet, so could Emmy be starting a new red carpet trend? I can’t say I have ever considered white nail polish. Have you?
A simple ponytail and a gorgeous smile completed her look.

I love white nail polish exactly because it’s so unexpected. With this dress, however, I would prefer something more elegant like classic red or nude.

I haven’t worn white nail polish since I was a little kid and painted my nails with white-out. I remember getting into trouble once for wasting a whole bottle of that stuff!
I have seen some young women wearing pure white though. With the right outfit it looks nice. I think it works well with the white shoes here.
I love white nail polish, especially during the summer because my skin gets darker and it creates a lovely contrast.
Reminds me of when friends and I would paint our nail with tippex/whiteout during primary school. Wish the clutch had been more in keeping with the colour scheme of the look.

I still can’t get on board with the white shoe trends. I can overlook it if it was a white strappy sandals, but pumps? a big no from me. My eyes went straight to the pumps, its too distracting.

she’s a mesmerizing woman! i love her here! the color is so unusual and her make up is excellent! i only wish she hadn’t carried that black clutch. and i don’t really have issues with white pumps so its okay. don’t care about her mani but that’s only because i don’t really like nail color. i’m more of a lip balm lip color lipstick lip gloss junkie.hehehehe!
