Michelle Yeoh took to the red carpet for the 7th Asian Film Awards cocktail party ahead of the main event held at Grand Hyatt Hotel in Hong Kong on Sunday.
She wore a Valentino Resort 2013 floral embroidered short-sleeved dress.
Not for the first time in the last week have I felt that this Valentino dress would’ve worked better on one of the teen stars of Hollywood.
I love the dress but it feels too twee for someone of Michelle’s stature, especially when you factor in that pink bow accent.
Jimmy Choo sandals and a Jimmy Choo ‘Tube’ clutch completed her look.
Do you agree? Is this dress too twee for Michelle?

She is WAY TOO MATURE for this dress, this looks all wrong on her.
I wouldn’t go so far as saying it’s terrible, but yes she is definitely too old to be wearing this look.
Agree. And the styling is awful.

I’m thinking that if this were a bright color..it would be better
This look too young for her.
It’s indeed too twee for her. I’m also not liking the clutch and the shoes. I would’ve loved to see this dress on Ariel Winter.
Dress and styling are cute–the dress is adorable. But it’s both ridiculously too young for her and is washing her out. Save it for Kiernan.
