Giorgio Armani celebrated the opening of its new boutique on Canton Road, Isim Sha Tsui in Hong Kong on Thursday.
Zhang Ziyi wore a look from the Giorgio Armani Spring 2013 collection.
Her dynamic optical-illusion-print jacket, with two zippers starting at either side of the neckline and meeting further down the piece, is a lovely example of the innovative house of Giorgio Armani.
The actress opted not to wear the look with printed pants, as worn on the runway, opting for chic black silk shorts which provided a more interesting contrast.
Onyx statement earrings, a matching cocktail ring and sleek patent-leather Armani sandals accessorized her look.
Using the aquamarine colour as inspiration, she opted for a bright mani-pedi, with glossy nude lips and a ponytail providing the finishing touches.

I like this much better on Zhang. This is how you wear shorts on the red carpet. Very chic.
Totally agree. Love this look.
I agree also! So chic.
Usually I’m not a fan of King Giorgio but this look is really amazing.
I find the shorts a bit too casual but I still love it head to toe.
BDOTW just got a whole lot more interesting. And I’m not the biggest fan of shorts. Love the print, the shoes, thd ring, the nail color, the attitude. Work.
+1
I don’t like shorts on the red carpet but she is WORKING this look. Love the jacket, love her pose, and the mani-pedi.

BDOTW contender.. its refreshing.. love her styling
Such a killer look. Love this!
BDOTW – Love shorts on the red carpet when they are not too tight, otherwise it can look really tacky.
I love the jacket.
The ‘school uniform’ shorts are an eyesore, they ‘sabotage’ this gorgeous chic jacket in my eyes.
This is a lovely look. The colors of the top are divine. And yay no clunky shoes!
LOVE. A fine example of balancing prints with solids, and bright with dark. BDOTW contender all the way.
LOVE LOVE LOVE! No complaints here
I’m just glad she didn’t wear any of those chunky platforms she loves so much.
I LOVE that jacket! The whole look is awesome.
love
Perfect!
