The Duchess of Cornwall and Prince Charles met with Queen Rania of Jordan during the royal couple’s tour of the Middle East this week. The British royals are on the first leg of a tour taking in Qatar, Saudi Arabia and Oman.
While the Duchess looked event appropriate in her printed frock paired with a camel-coloured jacket, Queen Rania steals the spotlight.
Looking super chic and so very modern despite the formal occasion, she also looked event appropriate wearing an Antonio Berardi dress.
The custom-made long-sleeved colour-block dress features two shades of striking blue and a cool white panel, accented with a floral detail on the waist.
Had this been an A-list celebrity I would’ve pulled her up on her brown pumps with this dress, but black would’ve been too heavy, blue too flashy, and white a no-no despite being on trend, so I will settle for the brown.

I think black shoes would have been better with this dress. A fabulous pair of course.
I agree. A nice pair of black heels would have been perfect here.
That being said, Rania still looks great.
I was going to ask that you cover Queen Rania but then recalled that you dont do requests. Thank you for this coverage. I do not like her shoes, especially with the colors on that dress. But the dress looks nice on her.
I hope you will consider covering other royals, especially CP Mary and Victoria.
She looks beautiful, I don’t mind the shoes.
+1 Nice dress on her.
Shoes aside why oh why can ‘t Kate dress like this?
Kate should give her clothes to Queen Rania, it’d look more age appropriate IMO:-D
In her case, I’d settle for nude/just off-white silver metallic cap-toe pumps.
Either gray or black would have picked up on the shades in the flower detail. Can’t stand the brown. As if she got dressed, realized she hadn’t brought shoes, and put on the ones she was wearing yesterday because that’s what was by the door.
Agree the shoes really bring the whole effect down. But Camilla–frumpy from head to toe!
Love the dress. Im a big fan of Queen Rania’s style. my only issue is the hard constrast between the black purse and the brown shoes. I think I would have gone with black pumps to match the purse and flower detail
Wish the purse was brown, actually, as the shoes work for me. The dress is beautiful on her, and she looks so elegant. She is blowing Camilla away.
