Jessica Alba was spotted returning to her hotel in Soho in New York City after a day of promoting her new book, ‘The Honest Life’, yesterday afternoon.
Wearing a trans-seasonal look, the actress donned a Michael Kors Pre-Fall 2013 blazer with leather sleeves, which she wore with a light-blue blouse and printed black-and-blue floral pants.
Working two current trends – the black-and-white plus the white shoe trends – she carried Roger Vivier’s Prismick Zig Zag chain-accented shoulder bag and wore Christian Louboutin ‘Pigalle Plato’ pumps.
Impeccable makeup, wavy tresses swept over one shoulder, and complementary aqua earrings provided the finishing touches.

Can’t say I’m loving the printed pants but it’s a very well put-together look.

I was about to ask what Jessica does for a living nowadays. But the post answered my question. She writes books… why not, afterall?
Anyway, I only like the top half of this outfit.
The fit of the pants is a bit off and I don’t think floral pants work well with this blazer to begin with.
She runs a company. The book is about it’s products and the lifestyle that prompted both.
I want to like it because I normally adore Jessica’s style, but… I don’t. LOL. The top is too loose & the pants make her look wide (which is unfathomable considering her to-die for figure). All in all i feel like this outfit is too try hard.

Printed pants don’t normally work for me but this whole outfit is pitch perfect.
Love the pants and love the jacket. She needs a more fitted top to pull things in as the looseness makes her one width all the way down. I do not like white shoes full stop.
i don’t know. it’s like she’s trying to do everything at once! one trend at a time lady, one trend! somehow she looks shorter than she is because of the top i’m guessing but her face looks gorgeous…sigh!
