A group of bold-named beauties held court at Christian Dior’s Fall 2013 presentation to see Raf Simons’ arty collection in Paris on Friday afternoon. While none were as dramatically dressed as fellow show-goer Ulyana Sergeenko, they still impressed with top-to-toe looks from the designer.
Marion Cotillard: The French actress played it safe in a simple black coat worn over a monochrome dress and paired with black tights and pointy stilettos. The one perk that kept this look interesting to me; the adorable over-the-shoulder box handbag.
Olivia Palermo: Stepping out in a dress from Dior’s Spring 2013 collection, Olivia worked the stripes and the fringe to her advantage. She kept warm with a black overcoat that featured yet another trend: fur. I loved her bright matte red lip and the flash of patent lavender on her shoe.
Anna Dello Russo: Always willing to break the style rule book, Vogue Japan’s editor-at-large was the only one who eschewed Dior. Instead, she took fur to the max in her Fendi number, ripped right off the Fall 2013 runway. The result? An interesting mix of primitive and punk with a techno edge. Her fuzzy clutch was just as “hair”-raising.
Mélanie Laurent: When I saw this French actress’s look, I thought of two things: simple and sleek. But I would have preferred at least a small twinge of excitement in the pop of a bold lippie, a bright handbag or a much cooler shoe than that tired black pump.
Angelababy: We can generally count on the Hong Kong starlet to insert her unique brand of fashion flavor into her looks. She did so here with her sky-blue baby-doll frock and dainty mini bag, which were edged up with some tough love via a leather biker jacket and a metallic shoe. Did you like her sweet and strong moment?
Natalia Vodianova: The model opted for winter white in her skirt suit. The conservative styling worked on her, thanks to her statuesque grace (and that chic ballet-pink purse), but I couldn’t get past the uninspired nude shoe.

Marion looks nice. I like Olivia’s look the most.
I love angelababy’s look! The biker jacket brings it to the next level.
+1
Melanie’s look would definitely have been my favorite if she had worn a more interesting shoe.
As it is, I like Marion best. Everything is so nicely pulled together.
The individual elements of Olivia’s look are nice, but the overall look isn’t quite working for me.
I love Angelababy’s look here.. love the dainty/tough combo
Marion is the best of the bunch. I also like Olivia and Angelababy’s looks.
Like both Marion Cotillard and Angelababy’s look
I love Olivia’s lipstick and shoes, she’s the most interesting. Natalia Vodianova looks so beautiful and graceful as always.
Olivia and Angelababy wore the most interesting and chic looks.
How boring fashion weeks would be without Anna Dello Russo?
I love her style because she can turn right what seems to be so wrong.
Marion Cotillard looks beautiful. Understated and chic.
Loving Marion’s epitome-of-French-chic look. Olivia and Angelababy look cute, though both skirts are a little too short and Angelababy’s earrings are off. Melanie and Natalia are just OK. Anna looks horrendous.
*SO* tired of seeing Anna Della Russo on the fashion pages. Just because she’s a fashion editor does not mean she is picture-worthy herself.
Angelababy looks utterly adorable!
LOVE Angelababy!
