Marion Cotillard In Christian Dior – Jappeloup’ Paris Premiere

Marion Cotillard In Christian Dior - Jappeloup' Paris Premiere

Marion Cotillard attended the ‘Jappeloup’ premiere at Le Grand Rex in Paris, France yesterday evening.

I guess this is what awards season fatigue looks like, despite this being a Christian Dior Pre-Fall 2013 look.

French celebs don’t always dress up for premieres so I shouldn’t be too surprised by this laidback approach, but I wish she had worn something just a little more interesting.

A tweed cropped jacket, paired with a dark-grey turtleneck and fitted pants, was styled with a cross-body Dior bag and Dior ankle boots from the same Pre-Fall 2013 collection.

This is really dull and drab, the tweed cropped jacket looks unfinished almost as if the rest of it was accidentally cut off.

This is too “daytime” for an evening premiere in Paris, even if the dress code is casual.
It would work at Sundance with some nice boots.

I actually quite like it. I think what I like about it is that it feels hers. Like she could or did just walk ito her closet, picked something to get dressed and left. She has worn so many incredible gowns and I really do think she is beautiful beyond measure, but she always comes accross to me as too obviously dressed up by someone else.

I would change the shoes though.

I really like the look–but I’m afraid it’s drab for a premiere. Street style? YES. Premiere? No. Also, I wish she had picked a more interesting shoe.
