After debuting an extravagant Oscar de la Renta ball gown on the Academy Awards red carpet, Amy Adams changed into something a bit more manageable for the 2013 Vanity Fair Party at Sunset Tower in Hollywood.
While ‘The Master’ star didn’t win the Best Supporting Actress nod, she still brought another Oscar to the Vanity Fair party, as she wore a dress from de la Renta’s Pre-Fall 2013 collection.
Following last night’s metallic trend, she was dripping in silver with this caviar-beaded fringe gown, which was paired with diamond drop earrings and a bracelet.
With the flapper flair of this look, it would have been expected for Amy to wear her hair in a retro pin curl. But she kept her her auburn locks sleekly swept back into a simple updo, similar to what we saw earlier in the evening.

I absolutely loved both dresses and am unable to choose a favorite. She killed last night wearing extremely different dresses what proves how versatile she can be when she wants to.
+1 Loved them both so much–last night was definitely her night.
She is so beautiful and I love her in Oscar! If only she had another Oscar with her…
I love this woman!
I like the both as well, but have to say I like the soft blue with the huge skirt better. Just a lovely gown.
I prefer the dress on the left, its unique and an eye opener. Stunning
I don’t like this look as much as her other one.
I liked both of her dresses, but it makes sense she would change into this since the other one was so voluminous. I hope it had the same movement as demonstrated by the model.
Not a fan of the stark hairstyle though.
I like this dress much better, but I bet it looked amazing when she moved rather than standing still posing.
On her this dress is plain. It looks better on the model.
It’s a fun, glamorous dress.
She looks stunning again, but that ball gown took my breath away, so it’s my favourite for sure.

This is gorgeous and Amy never fails to be picture perfect on the red carpet but her princess ballgown moment for me came whenever the camera showed her sitting in front row at the theatre with that beautiful poufy skirt flowing into the aisle. Perfect!
neither won me over. The other one gave me a sensation of deja vu and this one is too similar-ish to JLaw gorgeous CK dress
Like this one much better, the other one looked like the skirt was made of feathers from a lot of dead pigeons.
Unfortunately I think this dress looked better on the model. I dont think it quite worked on Amy. I would love to see it in motion. Im guessing it looks better that way and it falls a little flat in pix.
I prefer her hair in this picture, but I prefer the Oscar dress.
Amy didn’t win any awards but she definitely deserves recognition for her award season red carpet style! I really think she quietly had the best red carpet run this award season and this dress only adds to her impressive run. She looks stunning!!
I adore this look, she looks great!
