Sandra Bullock stood strong on the red carpet Sunday at the 2013 Oscars held at the Dolby Theatre in Los Angeles.
The ‘The Blind Side’ actress wore an embellished black and silver Elie Saab Spring 2013 Couture gown.
Letting her perfect figure lead the way, Sandra looks like the Hollywood heavy-hitter that she is in this elegantly beaded gown.
The capped sleeves accent her toned arms, while the Swarovski clutch and Harry Winston jewelry are the perfect accessories, as they don’t overpower the gown.
I do wish Sandy would have pulled up her hair, as leaving it down cuts into the perfect silhouette of the gown, but overall, she makes a strong, classic statement.

I agree on the hair but that dress is just perfection so I’ll forgive her!
Gorgeous.
She looked so amazing on television and I loved her hair clip behind her ear. Flawless.
Totally agree. Perfect, just perfect………..
really disliked the broach in her hair, it felt like too much with such a detailed gown.
She’s always polished at these events. I like this, it’s a welcomed contrast to all the strapless, nudes/whites we’ve seen tonight.
I don’t like the clutch with the dress and her hair should have been styled differently otherwise nothing to complain about.
This is really elegant, classy and beautiful, the elabourate beading keeps it interesting and prevents the look from being boring. Thumbs up from me.
This would be one of my best of the night IF she had put her hair and IF it was lined all the way (so sick of the sheer skirt trend!). As it is, I still love the silhouette and the beading, but it’s not my favorite. SO close and yet so far. The clutch doesn’t really work for me either.
It fell flat for me. dont like hair pin. She just seem sad on TV
Sandra is still a gorgeous woman
She looks gorgeous but I wish she wore her hair up.
I love this! I agree that an up-do would have been better but this is still beautiful.
One of my best dressed hands down! I know it might not seem like a giant risk but she looks gorgeous and wears this dress well! Fabulous!
Is this the only Elie Saab we’re getting??!!
This is one of the few sheer looks I like, because it isn’t indecently sheer. I wish she’d chosen a different clutch and worn her hair up or back, but she still looks phenomenal.
Shame about the hair being down because everything else looks great.
she sure knows how to suck the magic out of an elie saab dress. 4/10
Love it. I think her hair works well with this beautiful gown.
she looked so elegant and confident on the red carpet on TV. i think she did elie saab very very well. i loved it!
+1. She looks classy and elegant. Last few weeks we saw few girls ruining an Elie Saab, but even with a minor gripe of pulled back here, she excels and works the dress.
I loved this gown when it was presented, and think it goes well with her colouring.
I love Elie Saab!! One of the best dresses of the night. So elegant! Just the hair didn’t work for me.
My only complaint is the hair but it’s not even that bad.
Sandra looked beautiful.
gorgeous
She looks lovely.
I guess I’m in the minority, but I didn’t care for this look on Sandra. It is a beautiful dress but I felt the color did nothing for her. This dull black color just looked blah on her, closely matching the flat brunette color of her hair and with no pop of color to relieve it, just seemed muted and dull to me. A brighter lip, or a pop of color in her earrings or clutch might have helped.
This is a great look for Sandra. The dress is gorgeous and I love her hair!
Love!
I was really hoping she would wear more color, but she still looked lovely.
STUNNING! She was the most elegant movie star on the red carpet! Dazzling gown!
Gorgeous gown! Very sexy and sultry! Only Elie Saab can deliver a fantabulous gown! Best Dressed!
Simply my best dressed of the night. Flawless.
