Best Supporting Actress nominee Sally Field made a big impact on the red carpet Sunday at the 2013 Oscars held at the Dolby Theatre in Los Angeles.
The ‘Lincoln’ actress wore a striking long-sleeved, red Valentino Fall 2012 Couture gown.
In an industry where youth is idolized, Sally does a spectacular job of putting the young women to shame in this pleated, sheer gown.
On a night where most of the stars opted for muted tones, this shock of bright red is a welcome change, and Sally simply radiates the charm and class for which she is known.

Sally looks gorgeous! One of the best of the night in this flattering, stand out look. Glad to see a color, a gown that is like a modern update on her character, and some sleeves darn it!
The gown itself is a work of engineering with meters and meters of fabric, I love it despite I’m not a fan of ruffles. Love it on Sally!

She looks lovely but I actually liked the dress and styling of the look she wore in the skit with Seth McFarland better. However, I understand that for every red dress worn on the red carpet money was donated to charity, so not only did she look beautiful but it was for a good cause.
