The last person we were expecting to see at the 2013 Oscars was Michelle Obama.
Presenting the ‘Best Picture’ award live via satellite from the Governors’ dinner in Washington, D.C., the First Lady looked radiant wearing a gown by her go-to designer, Naeem Khan.
Much like Octavia Spencer and Tadashi Shoji, Mrs O and Naeem Khan are a match made in fashion heaven.
Her custom-made smoke-grey and silver art deco inspired beaded sleeveless tulle gown with a square neckline was styled with the most exquisite earrings and a matching ring.
Sporting the most famous bangs in the world, she completed her look with a glossy lip colour.

I don’t like the super-heavy bangs face-on, although they look nice from the side and 3/4 view.
I also wish she would cut back on the heavily glossed lips. She has been over-doing the shine in the last year or two. (It’s okay with this shiny dress though.)
