January Jones joined Kate Bosworth to show her designer love at the Chanel Pre-Oscar Dinner in Los Angeles on Saturday.
The ‘Mad Men’ star wore a black viscose sweater compliments of the Chanel Resort 2013 collection and pants from Chanel Fall 2012.
The mini-turtleneck style sweater featured textured detailing on the front panel and exposed just a sliver of January’s skin for a playful look. The black and white pants were a graphic take on the classic tuxedo pant, and I’m glad that she went without the matching coat shown on the runway.
January is a past fan of the black and white trend, and really, the whole look seems to be a style her ‘Mad Men’ character Betty Draper would wear. She styled the pants-and-top look with Chanel shoes, a clutch, and a statement ‘Eventail’ black and white diamond cuff.
A neutral makeup palette and a volume-injected bob completed the look.

Overall a nice look, but I wished the sweater was a tad longer.
The pants are awful ! Plus, I don’t think they suit her well.
She is rocking this.
Not a fan of the seam up the front of the pants. She is built for this look, the pants just are kind of ugly.
The pants are awful and unflattering. Would like the sweater and cute retro hair–the exposed midriff is putting me off a bit.
One word… EWWWWW!
Ugh, it’s like a black ribbon camel toe.
LOL!
I prefer the runway look – I guess contrary to popular opinion
You know what? I like this. I like that she took a risk. She’s never boring.
The lines of this look are great on her, but I really, really, hate those pants. Can’t imagine liking them on anyone, in fact.
The pants are hideous, the shoes are dull, the hairstyle isn’t working for me either.
I would LOVE these pants without the thick black line on the crotch area – such a shame
