After her bizarre Ulyana Sergeenko bustle gown for the 2013 Brit Awards red carpet on Wednesday, Rita Ora slipped into something different for the after parties that evening.
Wearing her second leggy look from Alexandre Vauthier’s Spring 2013 Couture collection, the British songstress’s dress was even more daring than her first.
The halter neckline of the shiny, sequin dress featured a gold choker detail and a plunging back.
But that hip-high splice all the way up the side was the most glaring detail; that, and the ridiculously long train that no doubt proved to be quite a drag.
Rita’s plus-one for the Brit Awards parties was definitely her well-toned pin.
She kept on her same Giuseppe Zanotti wedge sandals, with the gold dagger-like ankle strap, that she wore with her Ulyana Sergeenko gown. (This time, you could see them.) And she accessorized with a Gucci clutch.
Peroxide blonde curls and a bright red lippie finished this loud look-at-her ensemble.

I only like the clutch. The rest is tacky tacky tacky.
I agree. What’s happening to her?
I couldn’t agree more!
This is such a shame… such a beautiful gown wasted. The hair detracts so much from this look. I would love to see it on someone much slicker. On her, it looks like a tarty vicar costume.
Haha, I was thinking that too “Sexy priest costume” from one of those cheap Halloween stores
Much better from that disaster from the Brit Awards but still lackluster.
Rita manages to make this gown look trashy. It’s probably her hair, I’ll never be a fan of the hasn’t-been-brushed-since-I-came-out-of-the-womb look not her (again, just personal preference) dark eyebrows. If it weren’t for the mile-high slit, this almost could’ve been a good look. But that isn’t Rita’s doing–it’s the designer’s. On the other hand, though, I love her clutch! How amazing is that thing?
Ignoring that slit (I know, fair impossible to do, right?), but again, ignoring that slit, this isn’t half bad for Rita. At least it doesn’t clash with her skin tone and/or red lipstick like many of her outfits do. But her poor hair. Why is it so bad to be a natural brunette?!
Could’ve been a nice look, but that hip-high split makes this look so tacky. Her hair could’ve been better too. The clutch is the only thing I like here.
It looks better on the model.
Hopelesslly trashy.
That dress is stunning.
As usual, when it comes to Rita, I don’t like what’s going on from the neck up. She REALLY needs to rethink her makeup & hair life choices.
ITA. I only know her from various fashion blogs but every time I see her I can’t help thinking that her hair and make-up are the main problem – no matter how bad or how good the outfit looks. Once she got that right, everything else should fall into place – well hopefully.
I agree.
This is not an after party dress….that’s all I’m gonna say.
just hit me. The dark eyebrows, blond hair and diminutive size combination is a huge part of the problem. If I put a finger over her face, most of her looks are fine. It made me wonder what is it? Her above the neck styling has to change.
