Naomi Campbell joined name twin Naomie Harris at the 6th Annual Essence Black Women in Hollywood luncheon at the Beverly Hills Hotel on Thursday.
All smiles from her new stint as model coach on ‘The Face’, Naomi chose to wear a short and sweet dress by one of her favourite designers, Azzedine Alaia. This is the second time Naomi recently wore the designer, which she sported to the season premiere of her new show.
The lightly pink, high-neck dress offered a pleasantly exaggerated take on the fit-and-flare silhouette with perforated darted details and soft pleating.
The look was a bit more sweet than what the model typically gravitates towards, but it worked. Especially so as the saccharine dress was styled with gladiator-inspired Alaia shoes that brought the right amount of sass and edge to the look.
The model opted to top off the dress with a casual down hairstyle, less-is-more makeup, and bangles.

Great!<3
This is basically the shorter cousin to the last Alaia she wore. Don’t like the shoes & the hair looks fried. Snoozefest.
Naomi looks gorgeous!
Eh, the dress is still too girlish on her for my taste. The gladiators don’t help and instead look awkward with the dress (at least imo). But it’s not a terrible look.
+1. She needs to lop off about 8 inches of “hair”.
Normally I’d probably say that a dress like this is too sweet and girly for her but thanks to the edgier take on the girly fit-and-flare silhouette and cool edgy shoes, this works just fine for her. Can’t say I like it a lot but it’s fine.
I feel a sense of deja vu.
zzz just like every other alaia dress that seems to be worn, surely he designs more than just these 3 dresses that seem to pop up everywhere.
also wish she would cut a few inches off the hair those ends are bugging me.
Love it!
Yikes! Split ends. Get a haircut, Naomi.
The dress is nice, but overall nothing exciting.
She looks pretty and sweet but it’s bit boring given that it’s just a shortened version of the dress she wore a few weeks ago.
She also too predictable colour palette wise-black,white or something close to one them and label wise- either Mcqueen or Alaia.
Short skirt with drop waist is not super flattering on anyone…also, her hair looks a bit too feathery at the ends. Not to mention that we’ve seen this look before. Karolina’s fab look blows Naomi’s out of the water.
Short dress drop waist…ladies in 40 ties please stay away it looks ridiculous…
Naomi is a stunning woman she just never had any style. Her noveau riche russian beau…has not helped
Now this is an Alia dress I can get behind. The flare hem works much better with the shorter length in comparison to the full length dress worn previously. The boots are a good addition but her hair doesn’t look very well kept.
