Julianne Hough In Emilio De La Morena – ‘An Evening with Nicholas Sparks’

Julianne Hough In Emilio De La Morena - 'An Evening with Nicholas Sparks'

Julianne Hough stepped out Wednesday to celebrate writer and rom-com hitmaker Nicholas Sparks at ‘An Evening with Nicholas Sparks’ at Waterstones Piccadilly in London.

The actress, who was there to promote her Sparks movie ‘Safe Haven’, wore a burgundy hot dress from Emilio De La Morena Fall 2012.

The skin-tight oxblood gown featured a sexy yet conservative leather bodice. The silhouette is beautifully simple in contrast to the edgy design.

The dancer-turned-actress made the gown look even more spectacular than on the runway. I’m glad Julianne went for an edgier look, as her style tends to flip-flop back towards sweet and ethereal, which I don’t think suits her well.

Julianne stuck to what she knows best: a slightly smokey eye and light pink lip. The makeup paired well with a unfussy updo and gold jewels.

I agree! She has a lot of ups and downs, but she always keeps things interesting, and on this occasion I like the result.

I agree Melissa, the sugary sweet looks don’t suit her at all. She’s should stick to edgy looks like this one.

    I like this.
I think I would have liked it even more had the skirt not been quite so tight. There is a happy medium between the drape of the dress on the model and the strained tightness on Julianne.

I agree that Julianne does better without “fluff.” I always seem to like her minimalist looks best.

This dress is not flattering on her. It flattens her chest and it doesn’t define her waist. Plus it is too long. The only good thing is the color.

Like this! Agree that the skirt is too tight, but it doesn’t ruin the look for me. The dress is a great color and design for her. Nice makeup too.

The style suits but I prefer the fit of the dress on the model. It’s an interesting dress with leather bodice.

Great colour and styling. I don’t like this dress on the model and while I do like it a little more on Julianne, it isn’t great.
