Jessica Chastain attended TheWrap 4th Annual Pre-Oscar Party at Four Seasons Hotel Los Angeles in Beverly Hills, California on Wednesday evening.
Like me, she has two loves: blue and Andrew Gn’s classic designs, both of which are expertly showcased in this cobalt silk dress with a cape-like overlay with a beaded detail.
You may remember that Jessica selected a blue dress from the same Spring 2013 collection back in November.
On this occasion, she styled her look with nude Christian Louboutin pumps with side-swept strawberry-blonde locks and a pretty pink lip colour.

If Jes is going to often re-wear one color, I am totally ok with it being this gorgeous shade of blue. I love the simplicity of this look. But, I will nit-pick: I wish she’d open the door to her shoe closet to let in some footwear other than the nude pointy-toe pumps
Its beautiful and better than the runway color.
Blue love her!
It is a lovely dress that looks great on her. Agree with Anne that some shoe courage is called for. I like the blue on her, but I like the contracting materials on the runway version as well–not sure that would have been a good color for this redhead, though.
I would have liked her to try the runway version. With that being said. I don’t like this dress on her. The top almost looks like a bib. The color is the only thing I like about the dress.

Ankles up it looks fab. But she seriously needs to branch out in the shoes department. The color is divine on her.
Love this look! And I love Andrew Gn.
I like this, but at the same time the change of the colour is not one single inch outside her comfort zone. Getting a little bored now.
She looks good in blue!
Love, love, love this blue on her! Seems slightly softer and deeper than previous blues she’s worn. Not sure if it’s the photograph angle, but it looks like maybe an inch or two more on the skirt would be more proportional with the top.
This dress is just so blah. The runway version is, at least, a tad more interesting.
She looks beautiful, I really like this look.

The divine colour was not enough to make me fall in love with this look. The shoes are not appealing to me at all, the cape-like overlay is unflattering and an updo would’ve been preferred.
I prefer the runway version with the detatil on the skirt and the two-tones though that blue does look good on her. The nude shoes don’t work, even going matching would have been a lot better. She needs to up her shoe game.
I prefer the cut of the runway skirt too, it looks better against the shape of top.
Not liking this look.
