Ginnifer Goodwin sported a rare floor-length look while attending the 15th Annual Costume Designers Guild Awards held at The Beverly Hilton Hotel in California yesterday evening.
The lady in red donned a Misha Nonoo cap-sleeved gown with sheer organza inserts in the skirt.
I didn’t like the look at first, probably because I’m not used to this silhouette on Ginnifer, but it quickly grew on me. Mostly because the length is just perfect, as is the choice of accessories, which included nude Christian Louboutin pumps and a matching Roger Vivier clutch.
Opting to keep the jewels simple, by sporting just a Cartier bracelet, and simple makeup was the perfect way to allow this dress to shine.

It doesn’t matter what she wears. She always has this face, begging for attention! And now I see that some other crazy stuff going on, botox maybe?
It’s a shame because dress is wonderful!
Perfect example of how bad attitude can ruin whole look.
I wouldn’t have picked nude shoes, but with the length of the dress you can’t see them anyway so it doesn’t matter. Other than that, I love this look.
Pretty enough, but I can’t get past the overdone eyebrows.

Good idea, bad execution. I love the dress but the creases are a huge let down. I don’t like her makeup which to me is a bit exaggerated trying to hide a very exhausted face and I have no words for the weird, heavy eyebrows. The clutch is gorgeous but not with that outfit.

This may not be my favorite dress ever, but I think its rich color, simple cut, and beautiful fit are simply smashing on her! She tends to wear things that overwhelm her petite figure, imo. The hemline’s a bit too long, though.
I find the dress quite lovely. Only thing I would add is some simple earrings to bring a little sparkle, especially since her hair is so short and plain.
She looks lovely, eyebrows and all. I would’ve loved a simple topaz stud earring, but that’s my only criticism.
Not liking the material.
I think it is a fun and whimsical look. The sheer strips are a little odd, but they are fun at the same time. She’s adorable.
Not sure why she decided to get injections. Makes her look older. She used to always be unexpected and interesting. I love the color, but this is just kind of boring. It looks like something my 60 year old mother would put together.
Her pose still annoys the hell out of me. But, for the first time, I think she’s wearing something that suits her and looks good with her hairstyle. This is a very pretty dress, really.
I don’t completely love it but it isn’t too bad. Great colour and I like her styling but not sure about the dress.
