Cat Deeley In Monique Lhuillier – 15th Annual Costume Designers Guild Awards

Cat Deeley In Monique Lhuillier - 15th Annual Costume Designers Guild Awards

Cat Deeley joined a host of stars attending the 15th Annual Costume Designers Guild Awards held at The Beverly Hilton Hotel in California yesterday evening.

Looking radiant, the British TV host stole the spotlight, wearing a Monique Lhuillier Spring 2013 gown.

Her nude long-sleeved gown, with web-like metallic embroidery, is a step up from the safe dresses she tends to favour.

I love how she sported smoky eyes and sleeked her Pantene-kissed golden tresses to elevate her smouldering look.

With so much embellishment, only Swarovski’s metallic snakeskin ‘Nirvana Star’ clutch. was needed.

Makeup and dress are beautiful on her. Wish with others that she had done something else with her hair, either pulled it back or softened the styling.

It’s a beautiful dress, I love how delicate it looks and the details on it. It fits her very well.
I agree with the others about the hair should have been back and I’m not totally digging that shade of blonde one her.

wish the hair was pulled back or even better a new hairstyle the poker straight hair is boring. the dress however looks incredible on her.

I agree with everyone else, hair should have been up.

Could’ve been a flawless look had she worn her hair up. The gown is beautiful.

Nude embellished dresses? The details are really beautiful, but it’s getting boring.

SUCH a beautiful dress–love it! (Note: it would look amazing on you too, FC! Just seemed like something you would wear :))
I wish she had worn an updo but this is gorgeous otherwise.

Once of my favorite dresses from that collection. It looks beautiful on her. My only wish is that her hair was behind her shoulders so we could see the full detail

Was just about to say the same.

    • Marybeth February 20, 2013 at 16:16 #

Amen. Her hair, with its dark roots and rather stringy ends, is not her best feature in any case. But even if she had luscious waves, they would be best behind her shoulders to show off that beautiful bodice pattern.
