Catherine, Duchess of Cambridge opted for a springtime look this afternoon on a rare sunny day in London for her first public engagement since returning from her family holiday to the Caribbean.
She visited Hope House in London, a rehabilitation centre for women recovering from drug and alcohol addiction, wearing a Max Mara wrap dress with black pumps.
The grey jersey print dress with a v-neck, cross-over front and ruched waist conceals the baby bump we were eagerly waiting to see, which is still in the early stages.
Sporting a radiant mother-to-be or fresh-from-vacation glow, her enviable tresses looked even glossier than ever.
Gorgeous, glowing, married to a prince… I couldn’t be more envious.

Baby aside, the dress is cute. It would have looked better if she pinned the neckline shut rather than wearing a tank with it, but I guess that would have made too much sense.

That’s what I was thinking, too — how does she not look pregnant at all except for that cute, perfect bump? The waistline is mystifying. Jealous, jealous. As always, she is perfectly appropriate and tasteful. Not headline-making or cutting edge, but reliably pretty and put-together.
