Last Saturday, Solo Moda host, Nieves Alvarez, showed off her amazingly toned body in two very revealing dresses with side-cutouts from Fausto Puglisi’s Spring 2013 collection.
Nieves paired the baby-blue version with coral Christian Louboutin ‘Pigalle’ pumps. While Louboutin’s Pigalle pumps usually add sexiness and edge to almost any outfit, here the bright hue felt a tad tacky in combination with the overtly sexy dress.
Silver metallic Jimmy Choo sandals completed the pastel-pink number, resulting in a more polished and feminine combination, but I can’t say I’m a fan of either look.
Nieves accessorized both dresses with jewels by Yanes.
Nieves redeemed herself on Sunday thanks to three different numbers from Stella McCartney.
First up, a yellow fringe dress from the designer’s Resort 2013 collection, which she paired with contrasting Jimmy Choo ankle-strapped sandals and a green statement bracelet from Yanes. You may remember that we’ve seen this look on La La Anthony, Kylie Minogue and Qin Lan.
The second look featured a blue brocade shift with a deep plunge from the Fall 2012 collection, styled with embellished strappy Jimmy Choo sandals and back-combed hair. Since the cut of this dress is more on the minimal side, it would have looked fresher and more contemporary paired with a sleeker hairdo and futuristic booties.
Nieves’ final Stella McCartney look was a black fringe dress from the designer’s Resort 2013 collection. Bright-green sandals from Gianvito Rossi added a pop of colour to the ensemble. While both the dress and shoes are great fashion pieces on their own, together the result is rather unfortunate as the lime-green sandals detracted from the sophistication of this beautifully fringed dress.
Again, Nieves completed her outfits with jewels from Yanes.
This look has also been worn by Anne Hathaway and Salma Hayek.

Dita von Teese In Ulyana Sergeenko Couture – amfAR Cinema Against AIDS Gala

The only two looks I like here are the two Stella looks. The yellow dress has been worn better before, but she looks good in both. The rest are incredibly trashy. Anna Dello Russo has previously worn the pink dress. http://www.redcarpet-fashionawards.com/2012/07/02/front-row-christian-dior-fall-2012-couture/
She was a bision of perfection yesterday whe she attended Goya Awards in Madrid! she was wearing an spectacular Stephane Roland couture dress.
other actresses in the gala where worth having a look. manh Stella McCartneys too
hope u feature some of themm
I like all her shoes, hate all her dresses. This is probably one of her weakest weekends so far.
+1. Well, maybe not “hate” the dresses but I dislike them all. The shoes — heavenly.
+1
Ha, maybe hate was a strong word but I really don’t any of them.
Dont even really know what to say..the baby blue dress screams tacky and doesn’t look far off a swimsuit. Generally just too much on show
Not crazy about any of these looks.
+1
I only like the shoes
if I had to pick one id choose the yellow one, though the fringe is bothering me
These are among the worst looks we’ve seen from her.
The first two looks are terribly tacky and not at all flattering.
The blue Stella is also too revealing and not chic. The two fringed look are ok, but her hair is very matronly and the shoes are uninspiring.
I don’t like any of her looks here, but se tottally redeemed herself at the goya awards with that stunnig stephane rolland dress. it was amazing
Omg, Nieves in Stephane Rolland? I’m swooning already.
She has a killer body.. but she doesn’t have to wear too short, too nude dresses. Not a good day for her.
I don’t know about ‘amazingly toned’… more like frighteningly gaunt. Please tell me I’m not the only one here genuinely worried for the woman’s health?
You are not alone. I don’t find anything attractive about how thin and gaunt she is.
Thank you! I wondered if no-one else noticed. It just goes to show how some of these women look great in clothes but pretty awful out of them. If you’re this underweight, this isn’t a great look. And more generally, waaaay too much on show.
the first two dresses are cheap and tacky, but the last 3 looks are fabulous. her legs are too die for.
Unfortunately I am not fond of any of these looks. The yellow Stella McCartney is probably the best look here.
I like the yellow and the black dress, but she’s waaaaay to skinny!
