Back in July last year, Anne Hathaway wore a Stella McCartney dress to appear on the ‘Late Show with David Letterman’ to promote ‘The Dark Knight Rises’.
Her Resort 2013 black sleeveless dress with fringe detailing was styled with pretty basic black pumps, which is exactly how Salma Hayek styled the dress when she wore it back in November to the British Fashion Awards.
I don’t really like the dress to begin with, but if I had to choose I would go for Anna as I find Salma’s Boucheron necklace OTT with this fringed look.

Anne’s hair looks SO much better now than it did then! This dress feels a bit like widow’s weeds, but Anne wins for me I like her shoes better than Salma’s and the necklace is an unnecessary addition.

They looked equally bad, to be honest. It’s an ugly dress and very un-McCartney. But I went with Anne b/c Salma’s brick pumps really turned me off.
