Katy Perry In Alice by Temperley – The Cut

Katy Perry In Alice by Temperley - The Cut

Katy Perry and John Mayer make one very cute couple. I never thought I would say those words aloud.

On Thursday, the loved-up twosome celebrated Valentine’s Day with a romantic dinner date at The Cut in LA.

Katy opted for an ALICE by Temperley Resort 2013 floor-length white-and-red dress.

Featuring an Aztec-inspired design that runs the full length of the body and sleeves, the sheer polka-dot tulle dress with a camisole lining was accented with a pale-pink satin ribbon.

The silhouette is simple yet flattering, serving as the perfect backdrop for the intricate Aztec-inspired appliqué.

Black accessories, including a Celine shoulder bag and black boots, completed her look.

I can’t say I’m crazy about the accessories, but I love the relaxed nature of this look and how blissfully happy she appears to be.

I am so glad that they are really happy together. The dress is perfect on Katy but I do wish she had avoided the black shoes and accessories.

I love the dress, and her hair. The terrible black accessories and shoes have got to go.

Love the dress SO much, but she needs white accessories.

Love the dress, but agree about the accessories, they don’t fit with the dress at all.

Beautiful dress, but the accessories look like she grabbed whatever was on hand.

This outfit for a dinner date? It’s a dress for a film festival or an award show after-party. Wow, she really tries. Hate those boots, they need to be burned. But she does look radiant and happy.

Yikes. The black boots are waaaaay too heavy for this dress. I’m glad it’s a maxi so they are mostly covered up.
I think a pony tail or casual up-do would have been nicer.
Styling aside, I like the dress and think it looks good on her.

The dress is really lovely, the black accessories do bring it down, way too heavy for it, wish she’d opted for light cream accessories.
