Daisy Lowe In Dolce & Gabbana – 2013 Elle Style Awards

Daisy Lowe In Dolce & Gabbana Elle Style Awards

Daisy Lowe took to the red carpet this evening at the 2013 Elle Style Awards hosted at the Savoy Hotel in London.

The model took a sweet turn at the award ceremony in a Dolce & Gabbana strapless ‘Sera’ dress with black Jimmy Choo ‘Anouk’ pumps.

The sweetheart neckline, feminine floral pattern, and playful ’50s style silhouette looked fun and party-ready.

I especially love how she toned down the sweetness of the look with an edgy and on-trend messy fishtail braid and a deep red lip.

You may remember that the master in sweet styles, Amy Adams, also walked the red carpet in this same look.

Woah, that’s the last person I would call petite. Isn’t she like 5″10? Either way, beautiful dress and styling.

It looks good on her though the bodice appears to have twisted a tad–she is certainly filling it out. I wish someone would stand it in a little more playfully like the model did–both this woman and Amy were too stiff–this is a party dress–you should look like you are at a party!

This dress is just pure girly fun! The casual hair is nice (though it maybe verges on messy around her face?). Her foundation is too pale, but I still think the dress really looks fabulous on her.

I loved the dress on Amy, it’s fun and adorable but Daisy brings it down thanks to the too revealing/tight bust fit, messy fishtail (rat tail-like) braid and heavy makeup.

Her makeup artist needs to re-think her foundation choice. Daisy’s face and body are two different shades – not pretty.
