Chloe Moretz attended Monday’s 2013 Elle Style Awards at London’s Savoy Hotel perfectly on trend for spring in a black and white striped dress.
The young actress who just wrapped ‘30 Rock’ is a pro at dressing her age in a fun and youthful way all the while pushing the fashion limits. She did so again in a two-toned long-sleeved Stella McCartney dress and Christian Louboutin ‘Pivichic’ heels.
I love this look. I love the playful pattern and classic colour combination. I love that the actress went for a chic-meets-messy updo to allow the dress to shine. What I don’t love? The vertical seams that attract my eye more than the striking stripes. The seams make the tiny actress look wider than she actually is.
Are you a fan of this dress on Chloe? Are you, like me, so excited for the spring trend of black and white?

Cute, cuter, cutest….
She looks adorable. And so much better since she gave up all black and learned to smile for the camera. She was adorable on 30 Rock too.
There isn’t a photo set of hers in which she isn’t smiling. People simply tend to focus on the individual photos where she isn’t.
A simple smile can make her look so adorable and well put!
Adorable–love the hair and the shoes, and the cute mod vibe. However the dress feels like a stripe knock-off on the infamous LV check collection, and it’s rather stiff/unflattering.
The wide white stripe in the middle really makes her look thick in the midsection, wish somehow a black stripe was there instead, but she looks adorable overall, loving the cute updo.
Not a flattering look and i am not loving the hair.
She looks great and age appropriate, I love this look.
Love everything except the dress, not a fan of black and white stripe.
+1
No. Those sleeves are disaster.
Has she changed stylists? I am quite liking her fashion choices recently, much less pouting and punking in attitude and style. Love this.
such an ugly unflattering dress on such a pretty young girl, the shoes though are divine.
I loooove the black and white trend, so yes, very excited! There is something that I both like and dislike about this look but not sure what exactly.
