The 2013 Elle Style Awards took place at the Savoy Hotel in London this evening, and it appears that someone didn’t get the memo.
We all know Elizabeth Olsen has style, just look at her Chanel Couture BAFTAs gown; so I’m flabbergasted by her choice this evening.
This Christopher Kane Pre-Fall 2013 ensemble is a Sundance Film Festival look at best.
While I don’t hate the look (in fact I actually quite love it) it’s the most event inappropriate look since JLo rocked Pucci at the BAFTA Brits To Watch event.
Blame this on jet-lag.

Ha, ha, I love this. She’s probably like ‘Sod it! British weather is such rubbish I’m wearing something I like and is warm’. I say good on her. I actually adore all these pieces. While it’s not red carpet-y, I lust after every item and would wear the look in its entirety.
FC, I think you’re forgetting Bonnie Wright at last year’s Cannes, that’s at least for me far higher on the inappropriate dress list
