Sally Field is the one star during awards season whose red carpet style has been hard to predict.
On Sunday she took to the red carpet at the Royal Opera House in London for the 2013 BAFTA Awards wearing an Antonio Berardi Fall 2012 gown with De Beers jewels.
With a conservative plunge and a flattering fit, Sally’s anthracite grey gown with lace macramé panel detailing couldn’t be more age, season and weather appropriate.
Like most stars at this event Sally kept accessories to a minimum, opting to carry the must have accessory at this rain soaked event – a brolly.

Wow, she looks stunning in this dress.
Beautiful and weather appropriate. Love this look.
Between this and the SAG awards dress she’s having quite a good awards season.
Wish it was a more inspiring colour, grey looks so dull, drab and gloomy and drags everything down. She could’ve worn her hair in an elegant updo and added some statement earrings or an oversized ring to liven it up a bit.
+1 to what you said. It’s a bit tight around the midsection, and gray is rather dull here. The top is better than the skirt though the V goes a little low. And yes I also think she needed an updo.
Nice. Forgettable. Falls in right next to Juno Temple on the spectrum.
Very nice!
I can’t wait to see what she wears to the Oscars.
She looks amazing as always! Love this look.
She’s having an amazing run this awards season.
