Jennifer Garner managed to look incredibly chic and not at all bothered by the rain and the chill, as she flashed a big smile at the 2013 EE British Academy of Film and Television Arts Awards hosted on Sunday at the Royal Opera House in London, England.
Once again walking the red carpet in support of her nominated husband, ‘Argo’ star Ben Affleck, the actress captured her fair share of the limelight in a supremely sophisticated Roland Mouret Spring 2013 outing.
The chic graphic and architectural silhouette of this dress was highlighted with its waist-cinching sash detail and strong peplum, sculpted to Jennifer’s enviable figure.
The ensemble was manipulated from its runway debut to make it more appropriate for the red carpet with the exchange of a long black skirt for the shorter green version.
In addition to a Roger Vivier black clutch, the other finishing touches to this glamour-girl look came in the form of a simple updo and well-placed diamond jewelry.

This reminds me of January Jones’ PG dress, and I like this a lot less. Still, at least she’s trying something a little different and it’s not the standard sparkly column gown you usually get from JG.
Loving this chic ensemble–it suits Jen’s laidback style but is still plenty glam. If I would make one change it would have been to keep the green skirt, rather than changing it to black. But it’s still a great look.
Yes! A long version of the green skirt, along with a touch of green at her ears, would have taken this nice look to a higher level.
+1 The green would have made this so much more interesting. But, still lovely on her
Ditto.
I agree.
The green skirt would have made this seem more original. But I still give a thumb up overall to look.
She looks beautiful, but she had better looks during this awards season.
Flawless, no complaints from me.
She’s perfect. I wouldn’t change a thing!
Perfect!!
I actually didn’t like the look at all. I’ve seen a series of Jen’s fotos, and it just didn’t look right at all (especially looks hideous from the back).
Ich, this looks like a cheap top and skirt. Not very nice from the back either, and didn’t work with her hair styling, which I’d have kept loose and bouncy to balance out the sharp contours of the dress. Jessica’s RM was much more successful.
So gorgeous! Loving Jen’s red carpet run this season.
