Hayley Atwell In Antonio Berardi – 2013 BAFTA Awards

2013BAFTA_HayleyAtwell

Hayley Atwell joined Sally Field in celebrating the designs of Antonio Berardi on the red carpet at the Royal Opera House on Sunday evening, for the 2013 BAFTA Awards.

The British actress also selected a monochrome look from Berardi’s Fall 2012 collection, but this black-and-white gown with paillette embroidery has a little more bite and is a lot more fashion-forward.

Along with the embroidery, I love the swirl pattern and the peplum detail which narrows her waist.

A black clutch and wavy tresses completed her look.

All-in-all, this was a very well dressed event.

This gown is more interesting and unusual and she carries it off elegantly. I like it.

I wondered how this gown would translate on the red carpet, it turns out pretty well. The elegant styling makes it look so good.

The BAFTA red carpet was completely dull this year. This was one of the few interesting dresses. She looks good.

Love this look. I didnt see in on the BBC red carpet so im glad that you found it FC. So interesting and fitting with the monochrome trend but in such a unique way. Totally in love with this gown and hayley in general. BDOTW/Y for me hands down.

Beautiful dress. It does something DIFFERENT with the black/white combo.
Definitely my runner-up for Best Dressed after Jessica Chastain.

These dresses didn’t work on the model, but Hayley looks amazing in it. As Kate said, it does something different with black and white which is really cool. She looks fab. Only thing is that I would have pulled her hair back in a sleek high pony. One of the best of the night for sure.

Like everyone else said, beautiful and interesting. Glad she left her hair down and her makeup simple and natural. It relaxed the look a bit, I think.

WOW. I don’t know if that’s in a good or bad way. It’s one of the dresses that could go either way… I don’t know, I can’t decide if this works or not. It’s interesting and she’s taking a risk, I’ll give her credit for that.
