Alice Eve In Alessandra Rich – 2013 BAFTA Awards

Alice Eve In Alessandra Rich - 2013 BAFTA AwardsEnglish actress Alice Eve continued the sheer and solid graphic trend, also flaunted by Gemma Arterton and Zawe Ashton, at the 2013 BAFTA Awards hosted at the Royal Opera House in London.

She rocked a figure-hugging Alessandra Rich Spring 2013 gown, featuring flame-like detailing at the top.

But when paired with her teased, pompadour hair and sultry nude makeup, this design seemed a bit out of place for the awards ceremony. Another look for the Grammys, perhaps?

The peep-toe shoes with their clunky platforms did this dress no favours, but I’m not sure that the stark white pumps and belt from the lookbook would have fared better.

All I’m thinking is where are her boobs? Didn’t she have humongous boobs?

hair is bad, the dress is alright but the black trim along the neckline bugs me so much.

I’m upset. I mentally saved these flame dresses for Rihanna

I wish this dress was floor length!

Could have been so much better. Hate the hair and the shoes. Dress is beautiful, but the length of the dress is awkward.

The styling really lets this look down.

  7. Jen February 11, 2013 at 00:06 #

    Hideous

  8. Tamia February 11, 2013 at 00:00 #

This is one of the worst looks I’ve ever seen and totally inappropriate.

It might’ve been a bit tame for the Grammys as it is, actually (lol!). Don’t care for the styling or the shoes either. I think she needs some color in there somewhere. It lacks spark as is.

Not sure if the dress and hair are tacky or cool. Either way they’d be better suited to the Grammys. The shoes don’t go with the look.

    I love this dress.

Don’t care for the dress but it could’ve worked with an elegant styling. With the ridiculous footwear and hairstyle, it’s a fail for me.

ITA. This dress could have worked with good styling and decent shoes.

I like most Rich’s evening dresses but celebrities rarely wear the right shoes with her signature ankle length hem, like this instance. This hairstyle is wrong too. I’d have added a gold or silver evening belt.

True about the wrong event but she looks good.

  15. Angela February 10, 2013 at 23:11 #

I don’t mind the event at all, I love her dress, the hair is great, and the shoes could’ve been better but I see nothing too horribly wrong with them. This lands in my top 6 probably

Is it me, or is she totally jacking Amber Heard’s style right now? hahah

  17. ramsay February 10, 2013 at 23:08 #

Wow these shoes are so wrong with this dress and for the event…
FC are you going to head straight into the Grammys coverage after the Baftas?
    Impressive, and well done!

yep…that’s how we do it 😉

Yes, this would look better at the Grammys with another pair of shoes.
