Holland Roden attended the Teen Vogue 10th Anniversary and Chloe Grace Moretz Sweet 16 Celebration at Aeropostale, Times Square in New York City.
The ‘Teen Wolf’ actress wore a unique Alice + Olivia Spring 2013 dress.
While I applaud the actress for wearing this difficult-to-pull-off splatter-paint bustier gown with a tulip skirt, the look doesn’t translate so well on the red carpet.
Sadly, the gown loses so much of its appeal with the deflated skirt.
I’m sure this would be almost impossible to recreate, especially considering the actress’ height, but keeping the belt would’ve allowed the gown to retain some of its original charm.
The pops of red are certainly interesting, but I would’ve considered a bolder lip colour.
Thoughts?

I guess, if the length was cut shorter and yupp had the belt be there, it would have been better.
But the main problem for me is the hair, its so unkept!
Not liking this. Also a bit much for a birthday party.
Isn’t it Teen Vogue’s 10th Anniversary? Seems appropriate.
I think she looks cute, but I’m biased.
I do agree that the look needs some fixing though.
If it was shorter, I would have really liked it.
Not sure who she is but I actually love the length and the whole look on her. I think it looks better long than short, and she was obviously going for the effortless look with her hair and makeup which is refreshing.
The dress is completely lost on her – bland, drab, dowdy, overwhelming. She doesn´t have the stature to pull it off, and her styling isn´t helping – her hair looks dull and messy, the matching red colour pops look forced (only one red accessory would´ve sufficed), and def. missing a belt.
Not event appropriate and I’m not liking the length of the dress on her.
gorgeous on the model but a let down on holland.
Not a great look.
Lamenting the loss of buoyancy and belt…this look did not translate well. Her hair is a mess as well and the dress just overwhelms her. Not sure about the red accessories, definitely needed a red belt to make that work.
