Naomi Watts attended the 11th Annual Visual Effects Society Awards held at the Beverly Hilton Hotel in California on Tuesday evening.
The actress wore a gorgeous Zac Posen strapless blood-red gown.
Ms Watts appears to be having quite a love affair with Zac Posen’s designs. Of the three she has worn in the last two months, her floral gown from ‘The Impossible’ LA premiere is still my favourite, with the Golden Globes gown a close second.
While this floral embroidered gown is stunning, I think Naomi is missing the je ne sais quoi she possessed with the previous looks mentioned.
Maybe if she’d opted for a different hairstyle, the look would’ve been amped up, taking it to another level.
Gold trinkets and natural makeup completed her look.

I sooo love this. She looks amazing. Usually her looks are all about elegant and effortless, but this one is all about glamor!!

I actually like this one best, and I like her simple styling. She is letting the dress talk and I think it is quite lovely.

The limp hair dulls the impact of this dress because everything else is on point.

The dress is beautiful and fits her perfectly. She’s always good to see on a red carpet.
This dress looks amazing on her! A fact which makes the hair so very disappointing. I like its being straight and down, but the center part does not flatter her. A deeper colored lipstick would’ve helped too.
I love this look! But the backdrop is so busy that it draws attention from her stunning gown. With a plainer background, she would have stood out more because it is truly a magnificent dress.

She does look stunning and I love the colour of the gown, but I loved her other two Zac Posen looks far more than this one.
I agree about the something missing thing – her SAG awards gown had the same look. It must be the hair, when she lets it hang it looks too wispy and the strapless gown shows how tiny she is, she looks more impressive in more structured looks. That said I do like the gown.
